AOH CHURCH OF GOD

Ac 12:12-17 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. 13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda. 14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. 15 And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel. 16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished. 17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

This is another very interesting demonstration because while the saints were gathered together at the house of Mary the mother of John Mark, praying for his deliverance, Peter showed up and was knocking on the door. The girl that went to answer the door was so astonished, she forgot to open the door and let him in. When she ran back to tell the others that Peter was at the door, they didn't believe her. They thought she was crazy; that she had lost her mind; that she was delusional. I have seen this played out so many times. People pray for a miracle and when it manifests they say I don't believe this! This is unbelievable! But we should not be surprised when God answer our prayers. The word of the Lord declares:

Mk 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
