Ac 12:25-13:5 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
Acts 13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. 5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
Now we are beginning to see the Church move more into developing and sending Leaders out. Contrary to popular belief, there is a method to the madness. The Apostles laid hands on Barnabas and Saul and sent them out. They were sent forth by the Holy Ghost. They were empowered to preach the Gospel in the synagogues of the Jews. Now it's one thing to preach in the church where you are accepted and accustomed to preaching, but it's another thing to preach in a place where you are not accepted and accustomed to preaching. This is why you need the Holy Ghost. This is why you need to have hands laid on you and be sent out. You need the blessings from the Church. You need the power of the Holy Ghost. You need the authority of the name of Jesus.
You also need to be in an organized body. There are too many wild, renegade, rebellious preachers out there calling themselves men and women of God, but have no accountability. Every preacher need a covering, a mentor, a pastor, over them. This is why we have so many problems in the church. There are too many independent spirits out there in the name of the Church of Jesus Christ. The word of the Lord declares:
Romans 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
I am so sick and tired of all these self made Bishops and Apostles and Prophets. They need to go somewhere and sit down. These are people who are rebellious and disobedient and are not willing to be accountable to leadership. They have a renegade spirit and want to do whatever comes to their mind. I have no respect for them. In order to be a good leader, you must first be a good follower. Beware of these wild jack leg, wannabe, hirelings. They will destroy your ministry. Make certain that you are connected to an organized, anointed, Holy Ghost filled Body of Christ before you go out to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
